NFL Regular Season Week 7 – The ROAR of the Jaguars

We continue our coverage of Week 7 with a review of the Texans vs Jaguars game.  The Jaguars were the second best team in the AFC last year, finishing as the runner up in the AFC championship game, and they were expected to do at least as well this year.  Unfortunately, Leonard Fournette, their gifted running back, has been injured of late and QB Blake Bortles reverted to a more error prone version of his prior self.  All of this was bad news for the Jaguars who turned the ball over three times before benching Bortles for replacement level player Cody Kessler.

The Texans were not all that “special” themselves.  Deshaun Watson proved that he was a mere mortal himself, completed 12 of 24 passes for 139 yards and a touchdown.  But he and fellow Texan Lamar Miller, who rushed for 100 yards and a touchdown, were more than enough to carry the day.  Texas win 20 – 7.

With the game recap out of the way, let’s turn our attention to the ROAR of the Jaguars who were on hand to provide a little excitement for the hometown fans.  Click here to view the Jaguars game day gallery.
