P-R-O 2010: The Houston Energy Dancers and the 12 Hour Road Trip

The Houston Energy Dancers cheer for the Women’s Professional Football League Houston Energy.
Due to some scheduling issues and some anxiety about flying, the squad drove from Houston to Atlanta. Director Derric Whitfield piled 7 of his dancers into his Tahoe for the 12-hour trip to P-R-O.
Derric might look like he’s sleepy, after all he did 2/3rd of the driving, but really this is just he best shot I have of him (even though his eyes are closed).
This was Derric’s first P-R-O Convention as an instructor, but he did attend back in 2007 when he was a member of the WNBA Houston Comets Team NRG.

Great to see the WPFL’s and women’s football best dance team represent the league at P.R.O.! I am a member of a women’s football team and a DANCER. If you all remember, I attended P-R-O last year. Make us proud ladies & gent!
