Teacher has a Devil of a Second Career
Amanda Amato is proof that you can have it all.
By day, the 24-year-old is a second-grade public school teacher and by night, a dancer for the New Jersey Devils.
“People are kind of shocked when I tell them,” Amato said. “Sometimes I run into people at games that I know and they are taken aback by it. Some don’t even recognize me.”
But for her, balancing the two passions comes naturally.
