STAF Cheerleaders
Three beautiful cheerleader groups gave me the opportunity to photograph them at the end of the South Texas Amateur Football championship game in San Antonio last month.
The ladies shown represent the Lady Scorpions (silver and black), Lady Heat Rays (blue and orange) and Texas Mavs cheerleaders. The football Mavericks played in the title game – River City Bowl – but lost to the Cuero Gobblers, 18-14. At the request of league owner Eloy Vera, Jr., the Lady Scorpions and Lady Heat Rays cheered on Cuero, which didn’t have a cheer group during the past season. Elizabeth Wilson, who is a member of the Lady Scorpions, was named Ms. STAF (shown with sash), and was part of the post-game festivities.
