More San Jose Stealth Bombshells

After dealing with an inordinate amount of bad luck on Friday, I barely managed to catch the San Jose Stealth’s last home game against the Minnesota Swarm. But it was definitely worth going through all that trouble to watch San Jose rout Minnesota by a score of 18-8. The Stealth kept their huge lead throughout the game, but kudos to the Swarm who didn’t give up until the last buzzer sounded.

As for the San Jose Stealth Bombshells, they were in fine form yet again, entertaining the big crowd throughout the whole game with their awesome dance moves and boundless enthusiasm. (They even managed to get the Stealth team photographer to dance along with them.)

Team director Teri had a special surprise for the team at the start of the fourth quarter when she announced the team’s Rookie of the Year, Maybeline, and the Veteran of the Year, co-captain Ashley. Both of them were honored to have received the awards (which came with a bouquet of flowers and a one year pass to Bally fitness club) and were happily celebrating with the whole team after the presentation.

Hopefully, the Stealth will manage to sneak into the NLL Playoffs and will give me a chance to watch more games to tide me over until next season. If not, it was definitely a pleasure to watch both the Stealth and the Bombshells. Good luck and best wishes to Teri and the team. You’ve all definitely exceeded everyone’s expectations; keep up the great work. I will definitely be back for more next season and hope to see you all then. Go Bombshells!
