TIME
- Registration begins at 9:00am…Auditions will begin promptly at 9:30am
LOCATION
- California Goal – 7680 Talbert, Suite H, Huntington Beach, CA 92648
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 18 years of age by August 19, 2012.
- Team members must have flexible schedule for weekly rehearsals, games, and appearances starting immediately.
- Must have reliable transportation.
WHAT TO WEAR
- 2-piece attire (crop top & briefs) and flesh colored hosiery are mandatory.
- Jazz, dance shoes or athletic shoes are also mandatory.
- You should wear performance make-up and your hair down.
WHAT TO BRING
- Identification
- Walk-Up Applicants: $25 Registration Fee (cash only)
- Suggestions: Water, snacks, extra nylons, warm-up/sweat suit, make-up, hair spray, mirror, towel
WHAT TO EXPECT
- Dancers will learn a stylized jazz combination and perform in small groups in front of a panel of judges. There will be 2 cuts made before reaching our group of finalists. Approximately 20-30 finalists will be selected based on their dance ability, showmanship, physical fitness, and crowd appeal. Finalists will participate in a group interview and be required to perform an individual solo (6 counts of 8) showcasing their dance ability and personality.
