Audition season is well underway with another NFL squad holding open call auditions over the weekend.  The Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, the First Ladies of Football, held their preliminary auditions on Saturday, April 2nd and they uploaded a bunch of photos on their website.

The New York Jets Flight Crew Cheerleaders held their preliminary auditions on Saturday and they posted many photos from the proceedings on their website.  To view the photos, please click on the image below.

Our good friends from the Miami Dolphins let us know that they hosted international cheerleader auditions in Bogota, Colombia today.  More than 100 ladies registered for the auditions.  Finalists will be selected tomorrow to participate in the final auditions in Miami on May 1.

UPDATE: The finalists are Elianis, Laura M., Laura MG., Nidia, Sara and Tania.  These ladies will join other finalists from cheerleader auditions in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Mexico City, Mexico; Rio de Janeiro, Brazil; and Miami to participate in the Finals on May 1.

Prior to the auditions, Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders Estefania and Jessica yesterday visited iconic sites around Bogota, including Monserrate, Plaza de Bolivar, Cathedral of Bogota and Candelaria.

Auditions will continue next in Miami on Saturday, April 23.

Audition season is underway and we have some tips from the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders Captains.

From MVC Captain Jeanne:

Be open, approachable, and kind. You never know if you are meeting your future teammate, captain, or a lifelong friend. Be present in the day and make it count!! Enjoy the process, you will never forget this experience.

From MVC Captain Lauryn:

Stay calm, and don’t let stress get to you! You will be learning a ton of material on the day of Open Auditions and will continue to learn something new every day during Training Camp. Remember that everyone is in the same position at you – you are not alone! Reach out to your peers if you have any questions, and don’t let yourself get overwhelmed during the process!
