Ultimate Cheerleaders

There were over three hundred beautiful cheerleaders in attendance at last weekend’s P-R-O Convention in Atlanta.  There were Redskins, Falcons, Saints, Sea Gals, Cardinals, Titans, Wizard Girls, Axe Maidens…and many, many more squads.  But our next 2014 P-R-O Convention All Star is from The Land of 10,000 Lakes…introducing rookie Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader Ting Ting.

Who’s next?  You’ll just have to wait and see.  There’s many more to come.

As I begin the laborious task to review and post process the several thousand images from the 2014 P-R-O Convention, I wanted to kick off our convention coverage by paying homage to some of the more memorable professional cheerleaders in attendance.  We refer the these beautiful and talented women as P-R-O Convention All Stars.

We begin this year’s tribute with a cheerleader that caught my eye last year.  Tall and strikingly beautiful, she looked great wearing a pair of plastic glasses for a “ugly duckling-beautiful swan” routine.  Her name is Tiana and she is our first P-R-O Convention All Star for 2014.

And here’s the aforementioned photo from last year, glasses and all.

So hot!

More coverage from the 2014 P-R-O Convention coming soon!  And stay tuned to see who is our next 2014 P-R-O Convention All Star…I think you’ll be impressed as I was with all the amazing girls that were in Hotlanta.

This month is our Tenth Anniversary and to celebrate we’re posting some of our all-time favorite photos.

Laker Girl Jessica in 2012.

The Lakers Girls are the gold standard of NBA cheerleading and whenever I get a chance to photograph them, I try to do so.  I have been able to photograph them a few times over the years, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to do so because of the league’s camera policy.

So in 2012, I was able to photograph the Laker Girls at an L.A. D-fenders game and I was able to snap several great photos of Laker Girl Jessica, but this one image is my favorite.  I guess you can say I am a sucker for a girl with beautiful eyes and a great smile.

St. Louis Rams Cheerleader Stephanie at the 2012 Final Audition.

One of my favorite events of the year to photograph is the St. Louis Rams Cheerleaders Final Auditions.  It is a wonderful event to cover, a very glamorous and entertaining pageant style audition.  There’s always something interesting to photograph and the venue offers a great environment to shoot the girls.

So in 2012, I’m in St. Louis and I am thinking to myself as Stephanie walks the stage modeling her swimsuit, “she may be the most beautiful girl, I have ever photographed”.  And she very well may have been.

St. Louis is an amazing place to visit and the Rams Cheerleader Final Audition is a wonderful event to be a part of.
