The Detroit Pride Cheerleaders are a relatively new squad that is trying very hard to become the official cheerleaders of the Detroit Lions. Recently, the squad purchased new Angela King designed uniforms to look more like their fellow NFL cheerleaders and I must say that they look terrific. Although the Pride brought many girls to this year’s convention, one girl in particular caught my eye. Her name is Tiffany and she is a 2012 P-R-O Convention All Star.
Who will be next? We shall see!
One of the squads that stood out for me was the Seattle Sea Gals. They sent several girls this year and in this article, we feature a strikingly beautiful brunette Laura. Now I am kind of know for my hair flip shots that convey a sense of motion, so a girl with long hair always makes for a positive impression in my mind.
So without further ado, introducing Seattle Sea Gal Laura…a 2012 P-R-O Convention All Star.
Keep watching to see who will be the next 2012 P-R-O Convention All Star.
What’s hotter than Cameron Diaz? 300 of the most beautiful cheerleaders in professional sports. Let me explain. I was scheduled to cover the 2012 P-R-O Convention and Cameron Diaz was on my flight to Atlanta…Cameron Diaz the actress. And as beautiful as she was, all I could think of was the amazing cheerleaders that I would get to photograph.
Each year, the hottest cheerleaders in professional sports gather in Atlanta for two days of intensive dance training. And though there was a record heatwave in the city, inside the 2012 P-R-O Convention it was even hotter.
The P-R-O Convention is the premier professional dance convention and the instructors represent the very best in professional cheerleading and dance. This year’s instructors included:
Jakene Ashford – Atlanta Falcons (NFL)
Sandy Charboneau – ProTour Productions
Denise Garvey – New York Jets Flight Crew (NFL)
Alto Gary – Houston Texans (NFL)
Tamara Jenkins – FC Dallas (MLS)
Stephanie Jojokian – Washington Redskins (NFL)
Heather Karberg – Arizona Cardinals (NFL)
Stacie Kinder – Tennessee Titans (NFL)
Tami Krause – Minnesota Vikings (NFL) & Minnesota Swarm (NLL)
Brandii McCoy – Charlotte Bobcats (NBA) & Charlotte Checkers (AHL)
Theresa Pottratz – Indianapolis Colts (NFL)
Tracy Rutledge – former NBA Atlanta Hawks & South Georgia Wildcats
Jenny Durbin Smith -Dallas Cowboys Rhythm & Blue Dancers (NFL)
Derric Whitfield – Washington Wizards (NBA)
James and I were given exclusive access by the organizers of the event, AllPro 3. For our readers who have never attended a dance convention, the following report will give an idea of what goes on during a weekend of nonstop dance action.
When in 2010, I first began covering the P-R-O Convention for UltimateCheerleaders.com, one of the squads that impressed me the most, was the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders. There were four girls in attendance that year and they had the good grace to wear their game day uniforms. And they looked amazing in their purple uniforms. And this year was no exception. The Vikings brought several girls this year and a couple stood out in my mind.
Today, we feature second year Vikings Cheerleaders Samantha who hails from Boulder, Colorado. I am sure you agree with me that Samantha looks amazing in her purple Vikings uniform…and that is why she’s a 2012 P-R-O Convention All Star.
Our next 2012 P-R-O Convention All Star hails from the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders…introducing Ashley A. She’s back for her fourth season and the first as a Captain. She and the rest of her teammates always give a great performance at P-R-O and I was fortunate to catch a game at FedEx Field last year, where the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders were the highlight of the day.
Well, I am back from my weekend trip to Atlanta where our fearless publisher James and I photographed over 300 of the most beautiful professional cheerleaders in the world at the 2012 P-R-O Convention. I took over 9,000 images and as I begin to post process some of them for my convention article, I wanted to give our readers a sampling of the amazing cheerleaders in attendance.
In this series, we feature some of the most beautiful and talented cheerleaders and anoint them 2012 P-R-O Convention All Stars. We begin with Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders Britney G. who caught my eye at the 2010 P-R-O Convention and continues to impress.
Stay tuned for more 2012 P-R-O Convention coverage.

The Laker Girls have long been considered the “gold standard” for NBA dance teams and they are an amazing sight to be seen in person. It is a rare treat to see then up close and personal, so I try to take every opportunity to photograph them when I can. And this past Sunday, I did!
The NBA Nation tour stopped off in Los Angeles over Mother’s Day weekend and featured interactive games, contests and NBA player appearances. But for me, the highlight of the festivities were the appearances by the Clippers Spirit dance team and the Laker Girls.
