Ultimate Cheerleaders

Last Sunday, the Cincinnati Bengals were, to put it politely, smoked by the San Francisco 49ers, 41 – 17 and the loss left the team with an 0 – 2 record to start off the NFL season.  I don’t like to dwell on the negative, so let’s turn the page and focus on the positive…the Cincinnati Ben-Gals!

You know, the Ben-Gals really seem to have a fun time getting ready for game day.  Just an observation.  I wonder if the football team poses for selfies before the game…probably not.

One of the stories of the new NFL season is the emergence of Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson as a top tier signal caller.  This has led to optimism and a new found excitement for those of us who have taken an interest in the Ravens, in my case for fantasy football purposes.

But this is not a site dedicated to fantasy football.  It’s a site dedicated to professional cheerleading and that being said, let us turn our attention to the other attraction in the “Crab Cake Capital of the World”, namely the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders.  Click here to view this week’s game day gallery of images.

In this week’s episode, Brittany and Mhkeeba interview the infamous Derric Whitfield, Sr. Director of Dance Teams for the Washington Wizards!  Both ladies learned and performed his killer routines that he taught at the two biggest dance conventions in pro cheerleading and have been huge fans ever since.  Listen in to hear all about his background as a college and pro dancer, pro cheerleading industry choreographer, and highly respected leader of all of the entertainment teams for the Washington Wizards.  Derric ends the interview with Drop It Like It’s Hot so everyone can get the chance to get to know him better!

During Cheer Chat, Mhkeeba and Brittany discuss an article from The Dallas Morning News by Sharon Grigsby attacking the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders as outdated and overly sexualized along with the ultimate clap back article from Paige Skinner in the Dallas Observer pointing out its absurdity.

Our parade of NFL cheerleaders continues with another look at the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders.  Click here to view the Redskins huge gallery of images from Week 2.

We continue our coverage of Week 2 of the NFL regular season with the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders, who saw the home town heroes give up six points in the final quarter to lose to the visiting Indianapolis Colts.  At least the game day entertainment was satisfying, judging from the photos.  Click here to view the Titans gallery of images from Sunday.

The Houston Texans survived a last minute comeback attempt by the Jacksonville Jaguars when Justin Reid stuffed Jaguar Leonard Fournette on a two point conversion attempt.  Texans win 13 – 12.

When its a low scoring game, sometimes the only excitement on the field is provided by the in game entertainment, the cheerleaders.  In celebration of the exciting win, let’s take a look at the Houston Texans Cheerleaders.  Click here to view the Texans game day gallery of images from Week 2.

The Carolina Panthers hosted the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to lead off Week 2 of the NFL regular season.  From the following photos, it appeared that it was quite wet on that Thursday night, but I am sure the people of the North Carolina are quite used to that.  But anytime the cheerleaders, who get all gussied up for their appearance, endure wet and rainy conditions, I applaud them for their efforts.  And I might say that the TopCats looked great under those moist conditions.  Click here to check out all the Panthers game day photos from last Thursday night.
