The Baltimore Ravens used a strong defensive performance and some dynamic quarterbacking by Lamar Jackson to defeat the Atlanta Falcons.  It was the eighth loss for a team that was once considered a front runner to make the Super Bowl from the NFC, but those aspirations on long gone.  And now there are rumors of a possible coaching change and the removal of a coach that had taken the Falcons to the big game only two seasons ago. 

Well, if you ain’t moving forward, you are moving backward…at least in the NFL.

Things are looking up for the Indianapolis Colts.  Andrew Luck seems to be fully healed from the shoulder injury that sidelined him for more than a year and it appears that he has returned to his old form, where he was a top five quarterback.  And as Luck goes, so do the fortunes of the Colts, who have already improved upon the 4 – 12 record of last year.

The Houston Texans Cheerleaders wore special military themed uniforms to celebrate their Salute to Service game against the Tennessee Titans in Week 12.  Click here to view the Texans game day gallery of images.

The New York Jets had a tough match up against their division rival New England Patriots and it was even more difficult when the Jets had to start long time journeyman Josh McCown in the place of injured started Sam Darnold.  Surprisingly, the Jets hung tough for the first half, tying the score at ten points at the intermission, but the second half was another story.  Holding the Jets to three points, the Pats showed why many considered them to be one of the best teams in the NFL.  Final score: Patriots – 27, Jets – 13.
