Hola Colts Fanáticos! Hi Colts Fans! I am thrilled to be your Cheerleader of the Week.

I feel extremely blessed to be on the Colts Cheerleading team for a fourth year and am excited to share with you some amazing opportunities while being on the team. Earlier this year I had the opportunity to travel to Honduras with my teammates to perform for the Honduran residents. My favorite part was being able to mc in Spanish and speak to all the natives about their culture and lifestyle.

My second overseas tour was in Curacao and Puerto Rico with Armed Forces Entertainment. My teammates and I performed for the troops and their families, experienced the countries’ culture, and hosted cheer clinics for the military families’ children. There was so much I enjoyed about this trip. Everything from getting to know the military families and their children to sharing my Puerto Rican culture with my teammates.

Another memory that I will never forget with my teammates was Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis. The energy from the city and the people was indescribable. These are memories that I will treasure with my teammates for years to come.

Thank you to my husband, my parents, and my two amazing sisters for all your love and support. Thank you to my 27 teammates for your friendship and life long memories. Lastly, a special thanks to the Colts organization for your support and for the opportunities to be ambassadors for Indiana. I am truly humbled and honored to be a part of such an amazing organization and the best fans in the NFL!

You are bilingual (knowing both English and Spanish). Is there a third language that you would be interested in learning?

Absolutely! I have always been interested in learning Portuguese. I have a friend from Brazil that stayed with my family for a few months and ever since then I have always wanted to go visit her and learn Portuguese. I hear the country is beautiful and the people are amazing.

You are co-founder of Plan the Day, tell us about this company!
Plan The Day is a wedding planning app for planners, venues, and brides. The best way I like to explain it to brides is that instead of lugging your binder around, you have Plan The Day on your desktop, tablet or phone. Everything about your wedding is in one place, and you can invite in your family, friends, and wedding professionals to share ideas and stay on the same page.

What costume did you wear for the Colts vs. Saints game and what is your favorite part of Halloween games such as this?
I dressed up as Batgirl. It was so fun to wear a mask and cape! It was the first game in my four years of cheering that we had a Halloween game. My favorite part were the pictures after the game. I am biased of course, but I just thought our whole team looked amazing in the Halloween costumes!

It’s the beginning of November, what do you look forward to most as the holiday season begins?

I love this time of year because of the fall colors and I really enjoy wearing sweaters and boots! What I look forward to the most as the holiday season begins is spending time with family. I live a life of constantly being on the go and around this time of year I am reminded to slow down and enjoy time with family, friends, and the little things in life.

In addition to being a Colts Cheerleader, you ballroom dance. What made you start ballroom dancing?

What made me start ballroom dancing was an old movie called Dance with Me with Vanessa Williams and a Spanish actor and singer named Chayanne. I loved the different styles of dances, the music, and the extravagant costumes. I remember watching the movie and telling myself that I would be a ballroom dancer someday and I ended up competing at Purdue University.
