Yes the third week of the NFL pre-season has come and gone and I’m only getting around to posting these photos from Week #2 (last Monday). Very busy at work, plus I am going away for a few days, but photos from the Eagles Cheerleaders, Redskins Cheerleaders, Buffalo Jills and more are on their way.
Last Monday night the Ravens hosted the Jets and as always the Ravens Cheerleaders, whether dancing or stunting, put on a great performance.
We saw Dorothy and Matt with this sign last week in one of the “Photos of the Day”, but what’s it all about?
At the end of the 1st quarter the Cheerleaders’ performance included they guys stepping outside their usual stunting roles.

Angel promotes the Ravens Cheerleader Calendar. Don’t have yours yet. You’ve got a chance to buy a calendar and have it signed by all 24 cheerleaders featured therein. The Ravens Swimsuit Calendar Signing Party is next Wednesday. Details here.
Pro Bowl Dan working the Designated Drivers Booth on the top level of the stadium. It’s difficult to see, but in his right hand he’s got the Topps NFL Cheerleader collection. Amanda (from the Ravens) is featured, of course.

Two-year veteran Christi (left) was part of the nationally ranked Virginia Tech Dance Team.
Nicole is a three-year veteran of the Redskins Cheerleaders. She’s a University of Maryland graduate and a science teacher.

Later James caught up with Amanda and Melanie at a Shopper’s Food Mart in Virginia:

Melanie, the cover model for this year’s Redskins Cheerleaders Swimsuit Calendar, earned her Bachelor’s degree in Finance from Virginia Tech (lots of Hokies in this post). She’s employed as a senior analyst in a major consulting firm.

The Washington Redskins Cheerleader Ambassadors consist of ladies from all over the country and are an extension of the Redskins Cheerleaders.
Selected during the Redskins Cheerleaders auditions process every April, the Ambassadors’ main focus is interacting with fans during all Redskins home games at FedExField.
While the Redskins Cheerleaders captivate the 90,000+ fans with energetic dance routines, the Ambassadors are in the Tailgate Club, Touchdown Club and Suites–and even in the stands–bringing a personal, up-close interaction with fans.
Here are a few photos from last Friday’s game, courtesy of reader Ron.

Congratulations to good friend of the blog Mindy Winkler, who was named Indianapolis’ “Best Local Traffic Reporter” for the 4th year in a row.
From Nuvo.net
Best local traffic reporter (TV or radio): Mindy Winkler
It’s hard to drive in Indy and not hear Mindy Winkler’s traffic reports. Reporting for the Smiley Morning Show on Z99.5, 104.5WJJK and 102.4 Hit Country WMDH, Winkler is there to cheerfully report the plagues of every morning commute. Formerly Commander KC on WTTV, Winkler eventually moved through WRTV-6 as a fill-in traffic reporter and through miscellaneous voiceover jobs into her current place in Indy radio traffic reporting. Winkler has made herself a permanent installation in the lives of Indianapolis commuters, making what can be a torturous experience into something with a little optimism
Mindy is a former Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders and also cheered for the CISL Indianapolis Twisters.
From the first half of Friday’s game it’s Ashley A. in the burgundy uniform.
From the second half of Friday’s game it’s Buffy in the yellow/gold uniform.
