The Jacksonville Axe Maidens made their first public appearance at the Jacksonville Suns baseball game on Thursday, April 9th. They greeted fans and handed out coupons for $5 off any entree at Outback (in this economy who wouldn’t like that?).

It was the perfect night for baseball and thousands came out to enjoy opening night. The Axe Maidens made some new friends and hopefully, new fans. Next up is several meet & greet at local Outback restaurants to help spread excitement about the upcoming Axemen Rugby League season.

Is there enough room in the service elevator for kicks and leaps? Apparently, Yes!

This was the first year that I got a chance to cover the Angels, and it’s been a pleasure. They are a great group of dancers and all delightfully charming. And they are certainly Angels (or Saints) for putting up with me following them around the Wachovia Center all season. Thanks Ladies!
