Kari did it. Carrie did it. Kortney did it. Cassie, Sunni, and Trisha did it, Courtney had a brush with it. Brandy and Nikky are up to their necks in it. Heck, Krystle did it just last week!
What is it with cheerleaders and weddings?
Well, now it can be your turn to take a ride on the reality tv train. One of your pro cheer colleagues is involved with casting a new show called “Something Borrowed, Something New.” It’s a wedding gown show with a twist: brides can choose to make over an existing dress or get one that’s brand new.
Maybe your mom is dying for you to wear her wedding gown. You don’t want to hurt her feelings, but wouldn’t be caught dead in that puffy, lacy, high necked, leg o’ mutton monstrosity from 1980-something. This here is the perfect compromise. And – as the producers of other wedding shows have realized – the ranks of pro cheerleaders all across the country are choc full o’ beautiful, marriage-minded young women who have a little media savvy, an interesting back story, and will look drop dead gorgeous in a wedding gown.

Boston Bruins: Of 625 applicants, less than 30 girls now compete to make the 2012-13 squad.
Chicago Bulls – The Luvabulls, one of the most recognized dance teams in sports, held auditions for the 2012-13 dance team on Saturday at the United Center. Female dancers 21 years and older who were interested in joining the 34-year tradition of the Luvabulls were encouraged to submit an application available at Bulls.com/Luvabulls.
The ladies that made it through Saturday’s first round have been invited to the Luvabulls mini-camp this week and the final squad of 25 will be announced on Wednesday evening. BullsTV will have a two-part video feature on auditions later this week.
Once selected, the Luvabulls will perform at all Chicago Bulls home games and have the opportunity to appear and perform at numerous other events including banquets, corporate parties, conventions, promotional events, trade shows and charity events. Additionally, the Luvabulls perform internationally in such places as Holland, England, France, Costa Rica, Japan, Cyprus, Greece and Turkey.

The Saintsations cheerleaders are known for pumping up fans and motivating Drew Brees and the rest of the NFL Super Bowl-winning Saints. These lovely ladies can now motivate you in your own home, with their 2013 swimsuit calendar.
The Saintsations swimsuit calendar was shot on-location at the San Destin Golf & Beach Resort in San Destin, Florida.
The Saintsations calendar is now available to help kick-off the football Saints season in a fine way. A party at the Royal Sonesta Hotel was held in mid-August to unveil the calendar.
Leslee Fitzmorris is the Director of the Saintsations. She said, the best picture wins, and that’s how the calendar’s cover girl is selected.
“With 33 beatuiful girls representing the city, you can’t go wrong,” Fitzmorris said.
From the calendar pages to the Superdome sidelines, these lovely ladies are more than just pom-pom shakers.
Two of the women are mothers. 3 are married, while 3 others are engaged. 13 girls are in their rookies season with the Saintsations, while 20 are veterans.
They’ve got brains to go along with their beauty. 30 of them have their Bachelor’s degrees and two have completed their Master’s programs.
Proceeds from the calendar and the calendar release party go to a scholarship fund known as the “Spirit” award. The scholarship is given to an aspiring high school dancer or cheerleader.

Storm? What storm?
With tourist attractions and museums shutting down all over the Miami area in anticipation of Isaac, the Miami Dolphins held the unveiling of the cheerleaders’ popular calendar last night at LIV in Miami Beach.
Packed like sardines in the nightclub of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, several hundred fans got their hands on advance copies of the 2013 calendar, shot in the Dominican Republic in the spring.

There was also a fashion show starring the Fins’ 45 cheerleaders in barely-there outfits.
Hip-hop pioneer Darryl Mc Daniels (DMC in Run-DMC) entertained the crowd, intoned Walk This Way as the ladies took to the runway.
Said DMC: “I’ve done concerts for 27 years, but I’ve never rocked the house with cheerleaders!”
