MIAMI –
With visions of NBA stardom rushing through their heads, dozens of eager dreamers laid it all on the line during Heat Dancers tryouts over the weekend.
In the end, only one enthusiastic hopeful truly stood out.
Keyth Wilson, Auditionee #71, put on a show-stopping performance that drew raves for those in attendance Sunday at the American Airlines Arena.
With more conservative dancers surrounding him, the gentlemen made use of the entire basketball court to showcase his moves.
Although men are not prohibited from auditioning for the award-winning squad, it’s been a while since one has actually been seen dancing on the hardcourt with the usually all-female group.
According to the Heat, he made it to the first round before making it to bootcamp.
