Austin Toros Announce Dance Team Tryout Dates
The Austin Toros announced that auditions for the 2010-11 Capital City Dancers will take place on September 11-14. Preliminary auditions are September 11th at 24 Hour Fitness at Parmer Lane from noon to 6 p.m. The semi-final round on September 12th consists of personal interviews, and finals take place at Aces Lounge on Tuesday, Sept. 14th beginning at 7 p.m. The final round is free and open to the public.
Capital City Dance team members perform at all Austin Toros home games and participate in community activities throughout the year.
Participants must be 18 years or older and a high school graduate. Dancers must be able to attend all rehearsals and games, and have a reliable source of transportation. Participants will be judged on dance technique and style, showmanship, and physical and personal appearance.
Pre-registration is $25 through September 3rd, on-site registration is $35 and subject to availability.
