A Halloween Clash Of The Titans
In a titanic struggle between two NFL powers, the Chargers fought through an inconsistent first half of play to come from behind and defeat the AFC South leading Tennessee Titans. Things did not bode well for the Chargers when the Titans blocked a punt for a safety on the first series of the game, continuing a trend of poor special teams play. But Philip Rivers and his rag tag band of receivers fought valiantly to overcome the Titans, who were buoyed by the return of quarterback Vince Young. In the end, the Chargers found enough courage and consistent play to score two touchdowns and two field goals in the second half to defeat the Titans, 33 – 25.
And if that wasn’t enough excitement for the 59,260 fans in attendance, it was also Halloween! And you know that means…the Charger Girls dressed in their Halloween finest!
For readers of this blog, the Halloween game is one of the most anticipated of the year and the articles that are derived from this special date are amongst the most viewed on our site. And I can understand why. Not only do you have all this Charger Girl goodness, but you have them all gussied up in some of the sexiest and most alluring attire in the NFL.
Enough hyperbole. Let’s begin our special Halloween coverage of the Charger Girls by introducing the Line Captains: Tiffany, Katie, Giselle, and Ashlie.
Giselle suffered an injury last week and wasn’t able to perform, but she was back this week with her shoulder all taped up, toughing it out. Welcome back, Giselle!
We have a lot of awards to give out this week, so let me introduce this week’s Charger Girl of the day…second year Charger Girl Natalie as the alluring Cleopatra.
The great thing about the Halloween game is all the great costumes. The Charger Girls always come up with some sexy and creative costumes and that’s great news for us male fans. To honor their efforts, we have a few awards to hand out. We begin with the Most Elaborate Costume….Maria the Peacock.
Now I did have a little conversation with her in the Bud Light Power Party, where she told me what she would be wearing. And I thought that would be a very challenging interpretation to design and I was excited to see what she came up with. But I had to mention, though, that it’s the male peacock with all the plumage.
The Most Humorous Costume Award goes to….Anjelica as Wilma Flintstone.
Anjelica has this beautiful mane of lustrous red hair, so I naturally thought something like Pippi Longstocking as a costume idea, but I was pleasantly surprised to see her as Wilma Flinstone. But the thing that makes this outfit special for me is her beehive hairdo. Love that hair with that costume, it made me laugh. Well done, Anjelica.
The Sexiest Costume Award was a hard one to decide because, frankly all of them are revealing and sexy in a nice kind of way. But the costume that had the most sizzle to it was a little slinky, black outfit. So, congratulations to Lauren P., for her black kitty costume…your award is a saucer of warm milk.
These were not the only noteworthy costumes. So, let’s begin our parade of absolutely fabulous Charger Girls in their Halloween best with Stephanie, Starkesha, Nicole, CGOTD Natalie, Michelle, Melissa, Marissa, and Maria.
We continue with Lauren P., Lauren O., Kylie, Kimberly, Jessie, Jennifer, Hayley, and Hannah.
Let’s turn our attention to Emma, Emily, Culture, Courtney, Brianna, Anjelica, Amy, and Amanda.
And here’s a photo of Ashlie’s line and one of a guy that came dressed as Philip Rivers.
Last week the Chargers played like a champion for one quarter. This week, they played two solid quarters and beat a good Tennessee Titan team. That’s a definite improvement and for Charger fans, you can expect by the end of the year the Chargers will have figured out how to play four solid quarters of play. But will that be enough to get them to the playoffs? Hmmm, good question.
At least we have the Charger Girls to keep us entertained.

Great work David, as always.
I believe you are totally responsible for nearly every squad in the NFL now wearing halloween outfits.
