Dallaswear 2014!
Over the weekend Terra Saunders unveiled the new and improved website for her company Dallaswear Uniforms. The website has undergone a complete makeover, and the new layout is bright, punchy, and very eye-catching. DU has all sorts of goodies for you to ooh and ahhh over. The new styles for 2014 are featured front and center, and there’s so much to discuss, I honestly don’t know where to begin. The new styles? The new fabrics? The new City Wear line? The models? There’s so much to take in.
These are a few of the new designs
One thing they have in common is *sparkle*sparkle*sparkle*. DU’s “Super Bling” options are more popular than ever and will for sure make you stand out from the crowd. You can go with the standard AB crystals (clear with a rainbow shimmer), and you also have the option to mix in crystals of different colors in gradations of color and pattern. Gorgeous! Still photography doesn’t adequately capture the twinkle, but those crystals make a huge difference in person. HUGE. The weird thing is that upgrading your outfit to add bling – even MEGA bling – doesn’t add to the delivery time. I don’t know how that’s possible. I have seen many many episodes of “My Big Fat Gypsy Wedding” and I know it takes hours to glue those little suckers on. One…by one…by one…
Look familiar? These are variations on the outfits worn by the NFL All Star Cheerleaders during their tour through England last Fall. Long sleeves, short sleeves, no sleeves. It’s all good.
One of the most exciting new aspects of the DU collection are the new custom prints.
They seem to sparkle without crystals. Imagine if you added crystals on top. Crystals on top of crystals!
This has got to be the cutest thing I’ve seen in a long time.
I love that it comes in two different shades of denim.
Pockets! Pockets on the booty! Love it. Ok, they aren’t real pockets, but that’s stinkin’ adorable. One of the great things about the DU site is they have large photos, front, back, and close up of every style, and sometimes in alternate colors, so you can get a good look at everything before you make a decision.
OK, how pretty is this ombre?
You gotta love the technology that makes this kind of thing possible. The colors remind me of every air-brushed t-shirt I ever bought on the boardwalk. You know, the ones that have a heart or a sunset and your name in fancy script across the front.
Sidebar: do you recognize any of these lovely ladies? Terra’s new designs are modeled by members of the Allen Americans Ice Angels dance team. (Click here for more on the Ice Angels.) You might recognize the two denim ladies above from the last season of “Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders: Making the Team.” Amy, the blonde, was a finalist, and Vivian made it to training camp and won the fan favorite vote.
But back to the prints, here’s one that isn’t even on the DU website yet:
The Royal top and Royal shorts. These two pieces will be offered in a few different colors and if that’s not enough sparkle for you, DU can add real crystals on top of the printed ones like in the photo. (If you look closely you can see the Swarovski crystals in every other row.)
The next new concept is the DU City Wear line. This collection includes shorts and a matching top for just about every market in the NFL that has cheerleaders.
So these are just a few highlights. In addition to all the new stuff, they’ve made some adjustments in many of their other tops to improve the fit and feel. I suggest you get to clickin’ and get over there now. But before you do, here’s a special offer. Everyone who uses the coupon Code ULTIMATE this month will get a special gift with their order. I don’t know what the gift is, but if it’s money, I want half!
