Cavalier Girls at the Cavs Fan-fest

For the fans at every home and away playoffs game, the Cleveland Cavaliers stage a fan-fest on the Gateway Plaza downtown between the city’s NBA and MLB facilities. What can be found is a construct of temporary basketball court, team entertainment stage, food trucks, sponsor tents, and jumbotrons. Whether they are en route to the stadium or want to be part of the action, thousands of NBA fans passed through to shoot a few hoops, get face-painted, grab a snack, buy some concessions or souvenirs, take a few cell-phone pictures, and watch some entertainment. Two hours before tipoff, these Cleveland Cavaliers entertainment troupes Cavaliers Girls, Cavaliers Scream Team, Q-Stix, and Spirit Squad took over the stage to put on a performance.

First, the Cavaliers Girls performed.

And what a treat, the entire ensemble of all 17 members danced in tight formation on a small stage.

Pregame fun with the Cleveland Cavaliers Fan Fest and entertainment performance was a great spectacle. Maybe next time more performers like mascots Moondog and Sir CC, the dunk team C Town Throw Downs, and in-game interactive team Cavs Crew might join the show.
