Preseason Week #2–Buccaneers Take Down Visiting Dolphins, 16 to 14
On a rainy Friday night in Tampa the Buccaneers beat their Florida neighbors 16-14. The 48-yard winning points came from 5th round draft choice, rookie kicker Matt Gay, with only seconds to go in the game.
The Buccaneers say they are reloading under Bruce Arians. The Dolphins admit to a rebuilding year. Preseason is preseason but the next game (3rd week) usually is very telling. We will see but as of now both teams are predicted to have sub 500 seasons.
The Buccaneer elite NFL cheerleaders had a good night dancing in the rain. They hosted the Juniors for a well choreographed halftime performance.
The Junior Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleading program is designed specifically to promote self-esteem, commitment, and fun among children ages 6 to 14 years old. This is a community program open and tailored to cheerleaders of all ability levels. The “youngins” participated in three clinics before hitting the field. Hooray to Tara Battiato, Senior Cheerleading Manager, and her team for a nice showcase. Smiles were everywhere. Rain doesn’t faze football cheerleaders.
