Soulmates Open Call to be Held on Saturday, January 12 – Michelle Sulpizio Named Soulmates Choreographer
The Philadelphia Soul announce the open call tryout for the 2013 Soulmates Dance Team and will be held on Saturday, January 12 at the Renaissance Philadelphia Airport Hotel (500 Stevens Dr., Philadelphia, PA 19113). The open-call audition registration will take place between 9-10 a.m. with the audition beginning promptly at 10 a.m.
The Soul also named Michelle Sulpizio as the Soulmates Dance Team Choreographer for the 2013 season. Her first official duty will be to oversee the open call event.
“I love what the Philadelphia Soul are all about, and I am very excited to be back with the franchise once again,” Sulpizio said. “I look forward to bringing Soul fans the Soulmate experience that they have come to know and love throughout the years.”
Michelle’s professional dance background includes being a member of the Philadelphia Soulmates dance team from 2005-08, and was named Co-Captain and Captain during that time. Sulpizio currently teaches competitive dance at a studio and coaches a high school dance team, where she also teaches 9th grade English. She has been teaching competitive dance for eight years, and coaching the high school dance team for five.

Fee for the clinic is $25, but those that pre-register will receive a $5 discount.
