Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders Open Auditions Are Sunday, April 6th
Do YOU want to wear the boots…AND cheer the first season outside at TCF stadium?
***AUDITION REQUIREMENTS***
– Must be a high school graduate or have a G.E.D. by June 2014
– If selected, must reside or be willing to commute to the Minneapolis metro area for rehearsals, appearances, games, etc.
– Must be able to attend ALL rehearsals, games and other related activities (Practices are held on Tues., Thurs. & Sun. evenings)
– Must have a valid passport.
– Must be able to show proof of health insurance, a recent physical, age verification and a diploma, as needed
– Provide a completed and signed application and release/waiver
– Must be a full-time college student, career woman or mother/homemaker
– If selected to the team, a one year contract and commitment are required
– $25 Application Fee made payable to the Minnesota Vikings is due at Open Auditions (cash or credit preferred)
– Recent non- refundable headshot and resume
-Attendance at all rounds of audition competition (See detailed list below.)

Audition Prep Classes (Optional)
Date: Thursdays, March 6 – April 3
Location: Winter Park – 9520 Viking Dr. Eden Prairie, MN 55344
Cost: $20 each or $90 for all 5 sessions (Register online in advance or Cash preferred at the door) **NO refunds
Prep classes are basically DANCE classes.
Classes will be taught by MVC alumni and current MVC will assist with demonstrations.

Beauty and Business – Tryout Workshops – UPDATED FORMAT! (Optional)
Date: Tuesdays – March 18 (Beauty Workshop) and March 25 (Business Workshop and Mock Auditions) – both from 6:30-10pm
Location: Winter Park – 9520 Viking Dr. Eden Prairie, MN 55344
Cost: $40 per session or $75 for both (Register online in advance or Cash preferred at the door)
– Bring your registration fee if you haven’t preregistered (cash preferred at the door), a notebook, pen, water bottle and snack. Wear a warm up or comfortable dance clothes and either dance or tennis shoes.
– If you want to know what to expect at auditions, how to prepare and desire to learn TONS of helpful hints, then you should attend this workshop! It will be fun and will prepare you for what to expect! The workshop would be helpful for those looking to audition for another team (college, pro, etc.) as well or for those that would like to have fun and see what it would be like to be on the team for a day. All are welcome!
Open Auditions

Fee: $25 registration fee (cash preferred) There are NO pre-registrations!!!!
– Here is your chance to be considered for the team! GO FOR IT!
– Please review all of the questions in the FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions) section of this site for detailed information about tryouts. Auditions are closed to the public! Arrive dressed in form-fitting clothing and prepared to dance. Bring a resume, photo, application and signed waiver (available at the door also) and application fee. You will also want to pack a lunch/snack, water bottle and layers to keep warm between rounds of auditions.
