“Kara is a favorite to win. I think a lot of people will say, ‘Really?’ But the more I watch her, the more I see her blend. ‘I’m not standing out at all. I’m just one of the Goliaths! They’re all very good!’ And what do you do? ‘Well, I came from a very good family. I was a cheerleader in the NFL. I’m in real estate.’ If you ask her about her looks, she’ll say they absolutely open doors. She doesn’t ever defend and say, ‘But I have to work hard!’ What you see is what you get. ‘I’m successful, I’m pleasant, I have a great attitude.’ She’s still dealing with the loss of her mom, which I can’t imagine. I really think Kara could be a surprise player, where all the sudden you say, ‘Oh my god… she’s going to win.'”

The surprise team in the NFL is the Kansas City Chiefs, who continued their winning ways by defeating the visiting San Francisco 49ers, 38 – 27.  Patrick Mahomes continued his hot streak by passing for 314 yards and 3 TDs, increasing his league leading season total to 13 TD passes.  His continued excellence under center was proof that the Chiefs made the correct decision in giving former QB Alex Smith his walking papers in the off-season.

Things are definitely shaping up quite nicely in Kansas City.  And on a separate note, so are the Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders!  Click here to see what I mean.

It is quite possible that we may see these girls again in the Super Bowl.  Yes, I think so.  Wouldn’t that be nice.

The New England Patriots are a perennial playoff contender.  The Detroit Lions are not.  And in Week 3, these two teams met on the gridiron in a seemingly uneven game, but a funny thing happened along the way.  The team that looked like one of this year’s worst NFL squads resoundingly defeated the prohibitive Super Bowl favorite from the AFC, 26 – 10.

The Lions used a strong defensive performance to limit the potent Patriots offense to a meager 209 total yards.  On the offensive side of the ball, Matthew Stafford was his usual self, passing for 262 yards and 2 TDs and running back Kerryon Johnson rushed for 101 yards, accomplishing a feat that hasn’t been done by a Lions RB since 2013.  Good times.

And that wasn’t all the good news for Lions fans…in addition to the win, they got another chance to experience the Detroit Lions Cheerleaders in all their splendor.  Click here to view the Lions super large gallery of images.

In Week 3 of the NFL regular season, the New York Giants travelled to the Lone Star State to play the Houston Texans in a game that featured some of the brightest young stars of the NFL Odell Beckham, Saquon Barkley, Deshaun Watson and DeAndre Hopkins.  The Texans fell behind early before a storming back in the fourth quarter, only to come up a little shorts against the “G-men”, 27 – 22.

The Houston Texans Cheerleaders were resplendent in their Liberty White Out uniforms.  Click here to view the Texans game day gallery.

In Week 3 of the NFL regular season, the Cincinnati Bengals made the trek to Charlotte to battle the Carolina Panthers and the game could be summarized as a tale of two quarterbacks: one that threw four interceptions and one that scored four touchdowns.  Fortunately for the Carolina Panthers, their quarterback, Cam Newton, was the one who scored four TDs, two rushing and two passing.  Advantage Panthers, 31 – 21.

Looks like the TopCats caught a break in the rainy weather that has plagued the last two home games and judging from the photos the weather was rather nice, all things considered.  Click here to see for yourself.

In Week 3 of the NFL regular season the Washington Redskins hosted the visiting Green Bay Packers.  The story of the game was the continued resurgence of 33 year old running back Adrian Peterson, who led the Redskins to victory on the basis of his 120 rushing yards and two TDs.  Alex Smith chipped in 2 passing TDs of his own to make the final score 31 – 17.

We begin our Week 3 coverage of the NFL regular season with a look at the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders in another wet and wild Sunday of football action.  The Denver Broncos were in town to face the Ravens in a battle of likely playoff contenders. Fortunately for the hometown fans, the Raven prevailed 27 – 14.  If you want to see a gallery of images from game day, click here.
