Our final 2018 P-R-O Convention All Star is a member of the Charlotte Honey Bees and I must say that she was one of those dancers who really stood out at the convention.  A talented dancer who is very photogenic, introducing Charlotte Honey Bee Jill, a 2018 P-R-O Convention All Star.

This concludes our coverage of the 2018 P-R-O Convention in Atlanta.  Over 250 cheerleaders, 8000+ images, 50+ hours of editing and post processing, 2 massive convention articles and 24 All Star featurettes.  Whew!  Just another typical P-R-O Convention, the most amazing gathering of professional cheerleaders and dancers in the land.

We are getting close to the end of our coverage of the 2018 P-R-O Convention in Atlanta, but before we move on, we would like to feature a special cheerleader from a special squad…the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders.  Hot girls and hot uniforms are a dangerous combination…okay, not “dangerous” per se…but definitely attention grabbing.  And I have said this before…one of my main reasons for covering this event 9 years ago was to photograph the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders up close and personal.  Being that I am from the west coast, photographing the WRC is not something I get to do every day, so when I get the chance to do so, I try to take advantage of the opportunity.  And I did.

So without further ado, our next 2018 P-R-O Convention All Star is a fifth year veteran of the Washington Redskins Cheerleaders, introducing Jordyn.

Our next 2018 P-R-O Convention All Star is a rookie Houston Texans Cheerleader, one of many newcomers to the convention.  As a matter of fact, I would liked to be able to photograph more of these newcomers because I like to feature as many new faces as possible in addition to some of those veteran attendees.

Well without further ado, let me introduce Houston Texans Cheerleader Shaunte, our next 2018 P-R-O Convention All Star.

The Washington Wizards are seeking energetic and talented female and male dancers for the new Wizards Dancers squad!  Open call auditions will be held on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Xsport Fitness, 4300 King St, Alexandria, VA 22302.  Registration begins at 10 a.m.  Check out the audition details below and pre-register to secure your spot today! Details

Open auditions are closed to the public.  Preliminary auditions will consist of 3 rounds of choreography that will include hip-hop, jazz, and freestyle.  Finalists will be chosen and announced at the conclusion of the day.  Please bring food and drinks to keep you energized and hydrated between rounds.  Also bring items to freshen up in between rounds.  Candidates will be judged on appearance, style, technique, personality, energy and projection, completion of choreography, personality and attitude.  Audition dates and location are subject to change throughout the audition process.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older by August 11, 2018 (valid I.D. required on the day of audition)
• Must be at least a part-time student or hold a part-time job
• Completed waiver and professional/dance resume
• Must provide a non-returnable headshot and full body shot
• Must be available for 35 of 41 home games and be able to attend all evening rehearsals
• Must be able attend a certain number of appearances and Wizards related events
• If selected , a year contract and commitment are required
• Walk ups day of auditions are welcome

Attire

• Professional dance audition attire required
• Sneakers or dance shoes/boots with non-marking soles
