The New Orleans Saints hosted the Atlanta Falcons last Sunday and the inexplicable happened…the much maligned Falcons defense held the high powered Saints offense in check.  Future HOF quarterback Drew Brees was held to 287 yards passing and no touchdowns and Saints running backs were limited to 52 yards.  That’s right, Alvin Kamara and Latavious Murray were held to 52 yards total…unbelievable.

Final score: Falcons – 26, Saints – 9.

One of the biggest games of the week was the match up between the Tennessee Titans and the Kansas City Chiefs, one of the presumptive favorites for the AFC title at the start of the season.  Patrick Mahomes put up some massive numbers for the Chiefs, throwing for over 440 yards and three touchdowns, but the Titans’ Ryan Tannehill was more efficient and his team held the edge in rushing.  In the end, the Titans were the better team and prevailed 35 – 32.

In the battle for New York, the New York Jets defeated the New York Giants 34 – 27 to earn bragging rights for now.  Both teams have some serious rebuilding to do in order to rise to the level of competitiveness that New Yorkers expect.  For now, we will have to content ourselves with another look at the New York Jets Flight Crew.  Click here to view the latest images from last Sunday.

The Indianapolis Colts were a little shorted handed last week when they played the Miami Dolphins.  Starting quarterback Jacoby Brissett, a promising signal caller, was forced to sit out the game due to an injury and he was replaced by journeyman Brian Hoyer.  And that turned out to be an unfortunate event as he was largely ineffective, throwing three interceptions on the day.

It was an ugly game and there is no way else to describe it.  But, the Dolphins endured and prevailed, coming away with their second win of the season.

Final score: Dolphins – 16, Colts – 13.

Let’s turn our attention to something more positive and take a look at the latest photos of the Indianapolis Colts Cheerleaders.  Click here to view the Colts game day gallery from last Sunday.
