The regular season match up between the Atlanta Falcons and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers was special because it was the Salute to Service game and the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders were wearing special military themed uniforms designed by one of our longtime sponsors, Satin Stitches. I think you’ll agree that these uniforms were a lovely addition to the uniforms worn by the Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders. Click here to view the Falcons gallery of images from last Sunday.
Coming into the season, there were lingering questions regarding the future of quarterback Marcus Mariota and how would he perform in this contract year. His continued development was the key to a successful season and playoff hopes. Fast forward to Week 12 and I think we have answered those questions and the answer is named Ryan Tannehill. Tannehill replaced Marcus Mariota a few weeks ago and since being named starter he has played. In Week 12, Tannehill led the Titans to victory over the Jaguars by throwing for 259, two passing touchdowns and running for another two touchdowns. He has a near perfect passer rating of 155.8 points…quite impressive indeed.
Final score: Titans – 42, Jaguars – 20.
I am not quite sure of the weather this time of year in Nashville, but I imagine it was a tad cold and overcast last Sunday. So kudos to the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders for performing in relatively revealing outfits. Click here to view the Titans gallery of images from last game day.
One of the most anticipated games of the year was played last Sunday between the New England Patriots and the Dallas Cowboys. A pouring rainstorm put a damper on the quality of play between two of the best offensive teams in the NFL and two blown tripping calls by the referees ultimately affected the outcome of the game. And what should have been an instant classic was, in the end, a largely unwatchable game…except for the two blown calls, it was unmemorable.
Final score: Patriots – 13, Cowboys – 9.
I must applaud the New England Patriots Cheerleaders for performing admirably in pouring rain. It must have been quite an unpleasant experience, but at least they got to cheer for the winning team! Click here to view the Patriots gallery of images from last Sunday.
The Washington Redskins hosted the Detroit Lions in a battle of low tiered teams. The Lions were facing a little adversity losing starting quarterback Matthew Stafford a few weeks back, but such turmoil is nothing new for the Redskins who were also starting a relative newcomer in Dwayne Haskins. In the battle of journeyman quarterbacks, the Redskins found a way to win. This game will be forever known as the “selfie game” as a prematurely celebrating Haskins missed the last play of the game, a Redskins kneel down, while posing for a selfing with a fan.
Final score: Redskins – 19, Lions – 16.
It must be getting a little chilly, at least on the east coast, as our favorite cheerleading squads transition from their warm weather uniforms to their winter attire and the First Ladies of Football were no exceptions. Check out the latest images from the Redskins by clicking here.
