Week 1 of the NFL Preseason saw the Minnesota Vikings come to the Crescent City to play the New Orleans Saints. In one of the highest scoring games of the week, the visiting Vikings prevailed 34 – 25 over the hometown heroes.

This is the last year that the Raiders will be calling Oakland their home.
