Your Imagination, Our Creation
Our passion is creative performance apparel that fuels your imagination and captivates your audience.
The Line Up got its start 28 years ago designing fitness apparel during the aerobics craze of the 90’s. What started as a side project for Deb, our creative director, has evolved into a team of 45 talented individuals.
As a women-led business, we take pride in supporting our family of clients and employees. They are studio, high school, and collegiate dance teams, NFL and NBA cheerleaders, synchronized skaters, and artistic athletes from around the world.
We believe the best designs are created from our customer’s imagination. We’re just here to make them possible.
Our Customer Service Philosophy
You’re a part of our Line Up Family.
You aren’t merely a client; you’re a friend and a partner. We know coaching is personal, and we want to get to know you.
We’ll jump through hoops for you.
Everyone at our office is empowered to make things happen for you. We’ll work together across departments for our mutual success. If you aren’t successful, neither are we.
We’ll advise with honesty.
We’re your trusted adviser – we only advise with your best interest in mind (even if it may not be what you want to hear). We’re honest when we make a mistake. We’ll always do what we say we’re going to do. Missed deadline isn’t an option for us.
We’ll always put ourselves in your shoes, even if they’re a tight fit.
We want to prevent and solve challenges by seeking to understand your perspective.
Made in the USA
All apparel at The Line Up is made by real people, at home in Minnesota. “Made in America” is essential to us; it’s apparel that’s:
Crafted with intimacy.
To us, producing locally is about creating a community that we know and trust. It’s about knowing who’s doing it, how they’re doing it, and how our people are valued.
Created with care.
Producing custom apparel is also a complicated thing, and we want to make sure that we’re doing it right. Everyone on our team – from design to production – works under one roof, making collaboration, innovation, and quality assurance possible.

Two members of the Detroit Pistons’ spirit squad are headed to the altar, after “Extreme Team” member Ryan popped the question to dancer Jenn with an epically choreographed midcourt routine during a timeout in the third quarter of a recent game.
On Feb. 11, the NBA Pistons played the Washington Wizards on their home court at Little Caesars Arena, and fans were surprised with quite the romantic performance by the Extreme Team squad, CBS Sports reports.
https://twitter.com/i/status/1095138556358606849In video footage that has since gone massively viral, Jenn is seated on the court while Ryan and his entourage dance, move and groove to Bruno Mars’ hit tune “Marry You.” Pulling out all the stops for the apple of his eye, Ryan breakdances, backflips, throws on a blazer and checks his hair – all in stride – before getting down on one knee.
Jenn, meanwhile, said yes – to the delight of the crowd and the collective Internet. Footage of the sweet scene – shared to Twitter by the NBA – has since been viewed over 538,000 times in less than 24 hours, winning thousands of likes and comments.
