The Philadelphia KiXX announced today the details for its unveiling party of the 2009-10 KiXX Dance Team, scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 15th, at the Packer Avenue Chickie’s & Pete’s and PLAY2. Along with a pair of performances at the event, the girls will also be signing autographs.
“We are proud to be hosting the KiXX Dance Team Unveiling Party at Chickie’s & Pete’s and the newly opened PLAY2 for a third consecutive year,” Vice President Darcee’ Roberts said of the event. “These ladies provide outstanding entertainment at our home games, and they are excellent representatives of our organization. This unveiling will be a great chance for everyone to get a first look at these ladies before our home opener on January 9th.”
The Unveiling Party will start at 7:30 p.m. and is scheduled to run until 9:00 p.m. that evening. The event will take place in the PLAY2 Interactive Sports Bar of the South Philadelphia Chickie’s & Pete’s. Jillian Gonzales, a former Philadelphia 76ers Dancer and native of Marlton, New Jersey, will also be on hand as she enters her second year as KiXX Dance Team Director.
With the upcoming Unveiling Party on tap, the KiXX are happy to announce an extension of its partnership with Toppers Salon and Spa. Toppers did the hair and makeup for the dance team in its 2009-10 calendar, and they are entering a second year of sponsoring the team at their five locations throughout the Tri-State area. The KiXX also announce today a partnership with Bally’s Fitness, who will serve as the official gym and practice studio of the dance team.

The Rocky Mountain Rockstars also came to audition. Most of the girls danced together with the NBA Nuggets, and have a strong bond between them. Their good looks, and high kicks could get them pretty far… I’m not sure what MTV is looking for this year, but if they want sex appeal, and jazz technique these girls are the way to go.

Michelle Alford Oubre is a success in the fitness world and has insight and passion for fitness and wellness.
Serving as manager, instructor, club coach and Senior Fitness Director at Anytime Fitness, Oubre is working hard to create and embrace challenges in the fitness community. I am thrilled to have the opportunity to share all of Michelle’s experience and achievements and accomplishments with you.
Michelle has quite the impressive resume. She holds a bachelors degree in Education from Southeastern Louisiana University. Oubre has served as Choreographer for the Southeastern Louisiana University Lionettes and was an original member of the Saintsations Dance team for the New Orleans Saints from 1987-1992.
Oubre was a Jazzercise franchise owner/instuctor from 2002-2005 and holds five different certifications, including body pump, group fitness, senior fitness, personal training, body flow and as an accredited instructor for Heathway older adults (2008). She has worked in the fitness industry in management and in leadership as a fitness instructor and choreography design while handling marketing and recruitment. Michelle believes in being a leader and has a mission to complete a strong fitness department providing direction and create emotion for valued members at the Anytime Fitness Center in Luling.
Michelle is a fitness expert with diverse talents in the health and fitness industry. Along with her upbeat energy and positive attitude for inspiring and motivating others, her true passion for others is to achieve a total well-being for each and every client. Michelle has innovative ideas to keep people motivated. She is a passionate, strong leader. Her mission and goals are to touch lives in a positive way by encouraging members to make wellness a daily priority in their life.
Along with offering a variety of fitness classes and programs such as body flow senior fitness spinning, group fitness, personal training, Michelle focuses on building a fitness foundation that will keep people motivated to improve their health.
Anytime Fitness Center is a state-of-the-art center owned by Jennifer and Rickey Perkins along with Scott Finnan. As a fitness expert and personal trainer, I believe that Anytime Fitness is the ideal place for a person who needs to improve their overall well-being and accomplish any fitness goals through a detailed, planned program and education.
Anytime Fitness has a great staff working with Michelle to manage and improve a large aerobic area and huge weight room. I think you would enjoy viewing her and some of her former Saintsations teammates in their natural arena.
Michelle is in the process of creating the right atmosphere and preparing to give great insight to this club and their members.
As a trainer, it is easy to discern that Michelle Oubre is a rare breed, a great trainer and superb instructor with real passion who goes the extra mile. She not only talks the walk, she definitely walks it. Michelle is unquestionably one of the best in the fitness industry.

This year’s Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders squad has 3 former Pro Bowl Cheerleaders, but only one represented the Cowboys Cheerleaders in Hawaii

I know there have been other cases of a Pro Bowl Cheerleader moving to another team: the Saintsations Deryn going to the DCC and the Ben-Gals Seazun moving on the Colts Cheerleaders are two cases that come immediately to mind. But this is the only case I know of where three Cheerleaders who represented different teams at the Pro Bowl (in the same year, no less) are cheering together on the same team. Am I wrong? Any other cases of Pro Bowl Cheerleaders moving to new teams?

The Knicks City Dancers are unveiling the first-ever NBA dance team comic book at two autograph signing sessions held at Madison Square Garden, Sunday, Dec. 6. Members of the team will be on hand during “Knicks Kids Day” in the Expo Center before the Knicks take on the Nets and again in the Double Teamed Store during halftime. During the second session in the Double Teamed Store, the dancers will provide an autographed copy of their comic book to all fans with the purchase of any item from the arena stores, while supplies last.
The Jills made the trip north of the border last week and the Bills hosted the Jets at Toronto’s Rogers Centre.
