This month is our Tenth Anniversary and to celebrate we’re posting some of our all-time favorite photos.

In 2008 the Washington Wizard Girls Director Jessica was late in her pregnancy and advised by her physician not to fly. So she chose Ocean City, Maryland for the location for the squad’s calendar shoot. She was kind enough to invite me down for a day, and I got to rare opportunity to go behind the scenes and see how the calendar gets put together. Plus I got some great photos! Above is Wizard Girl Angela in a cabana at the Party Block Pool Bar.

This month is our Tenth Anniversary and to celebrate we’re posting some of our all-time favorite photos.

I’ve got a lot of “favorite” uniforms, including those worn by the 1979 Houston Oilers Derrick Dolls and The 2000 Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders, but nothing ever knocked my socks off like the first time I saw the Jacksonville Sharks Attack Dance Team “Gray” uniform.

After multiple rounds of tryouts, hours of deliberations and a self-described “hell week,” the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders picked 26 women to the 2014-2015 squad on Sunday.

The final event, held at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, put about 60 finalists through their paces one last time. But the process began with open tryouts on March 30. A crowd of fans (including many young girls who spent intermission trying to recreate the dance routines they’d just seen) cheered on the potential cheerleaders.

Susan may have hung up her poms, but she’s about to embark on some great new adventures. Susan is recently engaged, starting a new job next month with a big name social networking company, and moving to Manhattan!
