NFL Regular Season Week 7 – The Jets Flight Crew

The Minnesota Vikings have had to overcome some adversity to get to the point where they are the unquestioned leaders of the NFC North.  Losing star running back Dalvin Cook has been set back and with the Green Bay Packers hot on their heels, their game against the New York Jets was a must win.

With respect to the Jets, their fortunes largely depend on the continued development of rookie quarterback Sam Darnold.  As Darnold goes, so goes the Jets.  And this past Sunday, the young signal caller from USC had a bad day, completing 17 of 42 passes for 206 yards, one touchdown and three costly interceptions.  Final score: Vikings – 37, Jets – 17.

Things will get better for the Jets, but as with all the teams that are starting rookie quarterbacks, there’s a reason why they were able to draft them that high.  Give it time.

So let’s turn our attention to something more positive…the Jets Flight Crew.  Click here to view their gallery of images from Week 7.

NFL Regular Season Week 6 – The Jets Flight Crew

It was another high scoring affair in Week 6, this time between the visiting Indianapolis Colts and the New York Jets.  Andrew Luck passed for 301 yards and four touchdowns to lead the Colts, but he also threw three interceptions.  Meanwhile, the Jets were setting a team record for most field goals with seven made.  Those field goals and Sam Darnold’s two touchdown passes were the difference in the game.  Jets win, 42 – 34.

It looks like the weather wasn’t too bad in New York, judging by the photos.  So let’s take a look at this week’s Jets Flight Crew photos.  Click here to view the Jets game day gallery.

NFL Regular Season Week 5 – The Jets Flight Crew

In Week 5, the Denver Broncos and the New York Jets clashed in a battle of rebuilding teams.  Big plays by the New York Jets would be the story line on this day.  Isaiah Crowell rushed for 219 yards, including one run for 77 yards that went for a touchdown.  Rookie QB Sam Darnold threw two TD passes to Robby Anderson, including a 76-yarder, and one more to Terrell Pryor.  On this day, the Jets were the superior team.  Final Score: Jets – 34, Broncos – 16.

The Jets posted a nice gallery of images of the Jets Flight Crew, who were wearing some interesting pregame uniforms.  Click here to view the photos.

2018 P-R-O Convention Memories – The Jets Flight Crew

It was a very busy weekend and I would have liked more one on one time with members of several squads that were in attendance at the 2018 P-R-O Convention in Atlanta.  Unfortunately, there wasn’t the opportunity to be able to feature as many girls as I would have wanted to and one squad that I would have like to have spent more time with was the New York Jets Flight Crew.  And though I didn’t get any one on one time with them, I did get a nice team photo that I wanted to share with our readers.

So without further ado, Denise Garvey’s New York Jets Flight Crew.

While Angel was involved in numerous activities growing up, everything from child beauty pageants to basketball, performing with poms has always been her truest passion. She is in her seventh season as a Raiderette and throughout the years she has been afforded many opportunities such as traveling internationally and being featured on the side of a team sponsored airplane. Angel’s hobbies include traveling, hiking, cooking, playing video games and rollerblading. Angel can’t wait to represent the Raiderettes at the Pro Bowl!

Ashley – Kansas City Chiefs

Ashley is a four-year member and captain of the Chiefs cheerleaders. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and currently works for a global healthcare IT company where she manages events and fundraising for their non-profit organization. Her love for dance is what brought her to the Chiefs cheerleaders but it was her opportunity to connect with the community and military that has been her favorite part of this role. She is honored to be representing the Chiefs organization, her teammates and all of Chiefs Kingdom at the 2018 Pro Bowl.

Ginger – Jacksonville Jaguars

Ginger was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. At the age of four, she started dancing, cheering and doing gymnastics. Ginger danced for four years with the NBA as a Honeybee for the New Orleans Hornets before moving to Jacksonville. This is her third year with The ROAR of the Jaguars. She has earned the Outstanding Rookie Showmanship award in her first year and was also awarded the Coach’s Choice award last year. Ginger is excited and honored to represent her team at the 2018 Pro Bowl!
