Inside Edition – Blood, Sweat and Cheers: Behind the Scenes With the LA Rams Cheerleaders
From Inside Edition:
The Los Angeles Rams have returned to the City of Angels after spending more than a decade in St. Louis.
And returning to the field with the cheerleaders is a familiar face, Inside Edition investigative reporter Lisa Guerrero, who was a member of the squad 30 years ago.
Guerrero dropped in on a recent practice to meet the women, who were thrilled about making the team and dared her to don her old uniform.
One cheerleader told Guerrero: “Knowing that the NFL was coming to Los Angeles, I got excited because there is nothing better than football.”
Another said: “The first time I ran out to that field, I was overwhelmed with excitement.”
Guerrero, decked out in her throwback uniform, even joined the ladies in a new routine.
The Rams kick-off their season Monday against the San Francisco 49ers when they will take on embattled quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Editor’s note: these uniforms from the 1980’s were my favorite…just revealing enough to be sexy but without showing too much skin. It’s a far cry from the cheerleader uniforms of today, which show a lot of skin and are very sexy. How times have changed!
