2019 Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders Auditions

OPEN CALL

WHEN: Saturday, March 23, 2019

WHERE: Lincoln Financial Field Inside the West Club and Touchdown Club

PARKING: There is no fee for parking. Park in the “J” lot on 11th street which is on the left after you pass the K Lot. (There will be signage directing you to the correct parking lot)

TIME: Registration begins at 10:00 am, judging starts at 12:30pm. All contestants should arrive by 10:30am.

REQUIREMENTS: You must be 18 years of age or older and a high school graduate. (2019 high school graduates are not eligible.)

REGISTRATION FEE: $15.00 in advance; $30.00 day-of

 

* PLEASE NOTE: THE OPEN CALL REGISTRATION FEE IS WAIVED FOR CONTESTANTS THAT ATTENDED THE OPTIONAL AUDITION PREP WORKSHOP.

What if I advance to the Semi-Finals?

If you are selected as a semi-finalist, you will receive an information packet that explains the remainder of the audition process and the next steps in the process will be discussed at the conclusion of the Open Call Audition.

The following are dates that semi-finalists need to be available:

– Wednesday, March 27, 2019 6PM – 10PM Semi-Final Audition Rehearsal

– Wednesday, April 3, 2019 6PM – 10PM Semi-Final Elimination Round

* Contestants that advance to the Interview Round will be notified by Thursday, April 4, 2019.

What if I advance to the Interview round?

If you advance to the interview round, you will need to be available on the following date:

– Thursday, April 4, 2019 3PM – 10PM Business Interviews

* Contestants that advance to the Final Audition will be notified by Monday, April 8, 2019

What if I advance to the Final Audition Show?

The date for the Final Audition Show is to be determined.

What if I make the 2019 squad?

If you make the 2019 squad you will need to be available on the below date for an Introductory Meeting. At the meeting, the schedule for the year will be discussed. Rehearsals and meetings are normally held on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings beginning at 7PM, starting the week after making the squad.

* Most Eagles Cheerleaders have a full-time job or attend college full-time in addition to being a member of the squad.

Open Call Audition FAQ’s

Where will the Open Call Audition be held: Lincoln Financial Field inside the West Club and Touchdown Club

Parking: There is no fee for parking. Turn onto 11th Street and make a left into the J Lot. The J Lot is one entrance past the entrance for the K Lot. (There will be signage directing you to this parking lot.)

What time does the Open Call begin and end: Registration will begin at 10:00 AM. Judging will begin at 12:30 PM. We recommend all contestants arrive by 10:30 AM to sign in.

Cost: There is no cost for contestants that attended the workshop. If you were unable to attend the workshop, there is a $15 online registration fee for the Open Call Audition if you register in advance. Day of audition walk ups will cost $30.

What happens when I arrive at the Open Call Audition? Upon arrival, contestants will check in at the registration desk and receive a contestant number. Contestants will then learn a short dance routine and will be shown how the fitness portion is conducted. Contestants that learned the routine and fitness portion at the workshops can use this time to rehearse. There will be time for all contestants to rehearse prior to auditioning.

What are the judging criteria? There are two aspects to the Open Call Audition: A dance routine portion and a fitness routine portion. There will be 1 elimination round during the Open Call Audition. During the dance and fitness portions, you will be evaluated on showmanship/confidence & presence, dance ability, and physical fitness. This includes the ability to retain and execute the choreography and technique.

What should I wear? Contestants should wear sneakers or dance sneakers for the audition. We suggest wearing a warm-up type outfit over your audition outfit while registering and waiting to perform. For the audition outfit, we recommend fitted athletic/fitness attire – shorts are preferred.

When does the Open Call Audition conclude? Contestants should come prepared to stay the day. The audition is expected to conclude around 4 pm. Contestants remaining after elimination will be invited back on Wednesday evening, March 27, 2019 to continue with the audition process.

Can I bring family or friends? The Open Call Audition is closed to the public. Only contestants will be granted access into the West Club/Touchdown Club.

What should I bring with me? You can bring bottled water and we recommend bringing snacks with you. There will also be water stations available. We suggest bringing hair and make-up products for touch-ups. Do not bring valuables with you. There will not be a place to store valuables.
