The ROAR of the Jaguars Auditions Announced

Applicants must complete online registration by 11:59 p.m. EST on June 2, 2021

REGISTRATION REQUIREMENTS
Candidates may audition if they: (1) are 18 years of age or older as of May 7, 2021; and (2) will receive a high school diploma or equivalent by June 30, 2021.

All applicants selected for the 2021 cheerleading squad must be able to travel to TIAA Bank Field for all Jacksonville Jaguars home games and rehearsals.

All applicants will be provided with a link to the choreography they will need to learn for the audition.

All auditions will be held at TIAA Bank Field (location details below).

AUDITION SCHEDULE

PRELIMINARY AUDITIONS – Approximately 3 hours
Sunday, June 6, 2021
Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
(All interested audition candidates must be checked in by 8:30 a.m. to participate in the audition process. Candidates will be required to wear a face mask before and after their actual audition. Masks may be removed for the actual audition. Those selected to advance to the semifinal audition will be identified at the conclusion of the preliminary audition.)

SEMIFINAL AUDITIONS – Approximately 3 hours
Sunday, June 6, 2021
Check-in begins at 12:00 p.m.
(Candidates will be required to wear a face mask before and after their actual audition. Masks may be removed for the actual audition. Those selected to advance to the final audition will be identified at the conclusion of the semifinal audition.)

FINALIST REHEARSAL
Thursday, June 10, 2021
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

(Finalist candidates will be required to attend a rehearsal to learn choreography for the final auditions. Masks will be required for the duration of the finalist rehearsal. The rehearsal will take place at TIAA Bank Field on the North Deck or the East Club, depending on the weather.)

FINALIST INTERVIEWS
Tuesday, June 8, 2021 or Thursday, June 10, 2021.
(Interviews will be scheduled on an individual basis.)

FINAL AUDITIONS
Sunday, June 13, 2021
Check-in begins at 8:00 a.m.
(All finalist candidates must be checked in by 8:30 a.m. to participate in the audition. Candidates will be required to wear a face mask before and after their actual audition. Masks may be removed for the actual audition.  Finals will conclude by approximately 3:00 p.m.)

ATTIRE
During the auditions and audition class, proper attire is required:

Sleeveless crop top

Dance shorts

Skin-tone tights

Jazz shoes or dance sneakers

REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION
A valid government-issued driver’s license or passport is required at check-in for auditions.

HEADSHOT
A current headshot must be provided at the time of check in for preliminary auditions.

REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION
All registered applicants will receive (1) an initial confirmation email within 24 hours of completing the registration form, and (2) a final confirmation email, with a link to the choreography applicants will need to learn for the audition on June 3, 2021.
