Wild Things Tryouts are November 1st
The Wichita Wild and Wild Things Director LaTisha McFarthing have set the tryout date for the 2010 Wild Things dance team. Preliminary auditions will take place on Sunday, November 1 at Hartman Arena.
Starting at noon, dance team hopefuls can begin the registration process and they will take the field for their tryout at about 1:00. Dancers will learn a routine and the tryout will end with the selection of dancers that will move onto the final audition. Details about the final audition will be released as soon as they are finalized.
Qualified candidates must comprise skills in hip-hop, stylized jazz/technique and pom along with the passion to entertain, be a respected role model, learn and be in the public eye. Dancers must be at least 18 years old and new or non-experienced dancers are encouraged to tryout as well.
Registration forms can be picked up at the Wild office at Hartman Arena in Park City. Registration forms are also available online at http://www.wichitawildfootball.com/wildtryouts.php. There is a registration fee of $20. Completed registration forms can be sent or dropped off to the Wild office along with a money order or cash for the audition fee.
