Presented by the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders, the Race and 2011 Calendar Release will raise funds to support The Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver and The Kempe Foundation for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect.
The Kempe Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization founded in 1976, provides the education, advocacy and fundraising support for the work of The Kempe Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Child Abuse and Neglect.
The mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Denver is to inspire and enable young people, especially those from disadvantaged circumstances, to realize their full potential as productive, responsible, and caring citizens.
The event raised $20,000 in 2009 for Denver Broncos charities. Denver Bronco Champ Bailey and alumni members Karl Mecklenburg, Mark Schlereth, and David Treadwell raced go-karts in the 2009 event, traveling at speeds nearing 60 mph while racing against the 2009 Cheerleaders and members of the public.
