Two Delaware County natives have advanced through two rounds of Indianapolis Colts cheerleader auditions and need the community’s help to get them on the squad.
Lindsey Studebaker, a 2007 Muncie Central graduate and former Bearcat cheerleader, is currently undergoing her first-ever tryout with the Colts.
Also vying for a spot on the team is Yorktown native Kasey Ashley, who was crowned queen at the Delaware County Fair last year.
Studebaker told The Star Press she made it through the first two rounds of auditions Saturday, but can possibly increase her chances of making the team by having the local community vote for her on the Colts’ Website.
Those interested in voting for Studebaker and Ashley can go to www.colts.com/cheerleaders/audition_voting.html, then find “Lindsey S.” and “Kasey A.” and click “Vote” below their photos.
According to the Website, those who made it through Saturday’s two rounds of auditions are asked to return on Tuesdays and Thursdays from April 3 through April 19. The final night of auditions will be a showcase at Decatur Central High School on April 24.
