Eagles Cheerleaders Host Open Tryouts

SOUTH PHILADELPHIA – Hundreds of women wanting to cheer the Eagles on to victory tried out for their chance to be a cheerleader.
Auditions were held Saturday afternoon at the NovaCare Complex in South Philadelphia. All participants had to be high school graduates, and at least 18 years old.
Contestants had to model and perform a short dance routine for the judges.
120 contestants will move on to the semi-final auditions being held on Wednesday, April 2. The Final auditions will take place on Monday May 5 at the Kimmel Center.
