The Dallas Cowboys hosted the Green Bay Packers in the glamor game of the week. I know it was the most anticipated game of the week for me, matching up two of the best teams in the NFL and two teams with the most history in the game. Unfortunately, only one team showed up to play and they were the Packers whose offense ran the ball effectively and whose defense forced Dak Prescott into throwing three critical interceptions. Still it was an exciting game.
Final score: Packers – 34, Dallas – 24.
Every Dallas home game is special because we get another view of the premier dance team in the NFL, the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Click here to view the Cowboys game day gallery from Week 5.
Up next, a quick look at the Philadelphia Eagles Cheerleaders. The Eagles have a habit of posting a very small gallery with only a handful of images and that’s a shame because they really have a nice squad. Click here to view the Eagles gallery of images from last Sunday.
In the mismatch of the week, the Washington Redskins played host to the New England Patriots and as you would expect, the Patriots thoroughly dominated the game and emerged with the victory, 33 – 7. The loss would cost the Redskins head coach Jay Gruden his job as he would be fired the following day. But in all fairness, you really cannot fault Gruden for the poor state of the franchise. You must look elsewhere in the organization for the cause of the team’s failures, but I don’t think the owner will fire himself.
Let’s change the narrative and take a look at something much more positive…the First Ladies of Football! Click here to view the Redskins gallery of images from this past Sunday.
We continue our coverage of Week 5 of the NFL regular season with the latest images of the Tennessee Titans Cheerleaders. Click here to view the Titans gallery of images from last Sunday.
The Los Angeles Chargers hosted the visiting Denver Broncos this past Sunday, hoping to end a recent string of poor performances. Only a victory over the winless Miami Dolphins last week offered any hope for a return to past winning ways, but those hopes were dashed when the Broncos defeated the Chargers, 20 – 13.
To say this season has been a disappointment would be an understatement as most Charger fans had high expectations coming off of last season’s success. The reality is that a close victory over the Andrew Luck-less Colts is the only quality win on the resume and three losses to middle of the pack teams does not bode well for the Chargers, who had hopes of playoff success.
But enough misery. Let’s turn our attention to something eminently more positive…your Los Angeles Charger Girls. Click here to view the Chargers gallery of images from Week 5.
The Cincinnati Bengals played host to the Arizona Cardinals last Sunday in a battle that could possibly decide which teams would earn the #1 pick in next year’s draft. You see both teams, along with the Redskins, Dolphins, and Jets are clearly among the worst in the NFL and as such could use an influx of new, young talent. That being said, this game was up for grabs and both teams had their chances to win, but the Cardinals rode the back of former #1 overall pick Kyler Murray to victory. I guess the Cardinals are a little further along in the rebuild process than the Bengals.
Final Score: Cardinals – 26, Bengals – 23.
With the loss, the Bengals are predicted to earn the top spot in the 2020 NFL draft and most speculate that they will draft a replacement for quarterback Andy Dalton. Justin Herbert anyone? Let’s see if this early prognostication come true. Until then, let us enjoy this week’s photos of the Cincinnati Ben-Gals. Click here to view the Bengals gallery of images from last week.
