NFL Regular Season Week 9 – The Carolina TopCats

When I look at the Carolina Panthers, I don’t see a prototypical NFL offense like, say, the New England Patriots or the Green Bay Packers with a healthy Aaron Rodgers.  I see a team with an offense loaded with disruptive play makers that make it difficult to defend them schematically.  I see a talented quarterback in Cam Newton who can win a game with his feet as well as his arm.  I see hybrid running backs who can catch passes in space and exploit defensive mismatches.  I see a diverse set of wide receivers that make opponents defend the width of the field as well as the length.

And the Panthers have a pretty solid defense too, led by a future Hall of Fame linebacker who literally plays all over the field.  So it should come as no surprise that the Panthers soundly defeated a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that give a very good accounting of themselves, but fell short.  The Panthers are a playoff team and Buccaneers are not quite there yet.  Final score: Panthers – 42, Buccaneers – 28.

Let us recap the Panthers advantages.  Disruptive offense…check.  Dominant defense…check.  Amazing cheerleaders…double check.  Click here to view this week’s TopCat images.

NFL Regular Season Week 5 – The Carolina TopCats

Last week there were a number of very close games in the NFL.  This week, not so much, but one that was close was the game between the New York Giants and the Carolina Panthers.  Odell Beckham Jr. returned to his old self, catching 8 passes for 131 yards and one TD.  He even threw a pass for a TD to Saquon Barkley.  Cam Newton was his old self, throwing two TDs and two picks.  In one of the defining moments of the game, Newton threw a crushing block to help Christian McCaffrey/DJ Moore bust a run for a big gain.  All things considered, it was a rather even affair that came down to a last second field goal by Graham Gano.  Panthers win, 33 – 31.

With the recap out of the way, let’s turn our attention to the Carolina TopCats, who also had a nice game.  Click here to view the TopCats images from the game.

NFL Regular Season Week 3 – The Carolina TopCats!

In Week 3 of the NFL regular season, the Cincinnati Bengals made the trek to Charlotte to battle the Carolina Panthers and the game could be summarized as a tale of two quarterbacks: one that threw four interceptions and one that scored four touchdowns.  Fortunately for the Carolina Panthers, their quarterback, Cam Newton, was the one who scored four TDs, two rushing and two passing.  Advantage Panthers, 31 – 21.

Looks like the TopCats caught a break in the rainy weather that has plagued the last two home games and judging from the photos the weather was rather nice, all things considered.  Click here to see for yourself.

NFL Regular Season Week 1 – The Carolina TopCats

Let me begin this week’s coverage of the Carolina TopCats by noting that our thoughts and prayers are with the people of the Carolinas and the areas affected by hurricane Florence.  Stay safe.

On to more happy circumstances.  Let’s take a look at one of the most impressive NFL cheerleading squads of the new year…the Carolina TopCats, who bore witness to a fairly convincing win over America’s team, the Dallas Cowboys.  Click here to view a gallery of images from game day.

I will say this…no NFL cheerleading squad looks better than the TopCats while dancing in the rain!

NFL Preseason Week 3 – The Carolina TopCats

So what did we fantasy football fans glean from Week 3?  Not a whole lot because unlike in years past where Week 3 was seen as a dress rehearsal for the regular season, this year many teams elected to keep their starters off the field to avoid potential injury.

There was one bit of information that we could gain from this week…the Carolina TopCats are one of the hottest cheerleading squads in the NFL this year.  Click here to see for yourself.

Can you believe it…some people in this country want to eliminate cheerleaders from the NFL?  Madness…sheer madness!  It’s 2018 and in America, we should want more choices, not less.  If you don’t like what you see, you don’t have to look.

Judging from the popularity of this blog, many people are appreciative of NFL cheerleaders.  So take a good look at Carolina TopCats, one of the hottest dance teams in the NFL and if you like cheerleaders, email Roger Goodell and let him know.
