Philadelphia Fight Vixens Dance Team Auditions Are May 13th

Philadelphia Fight Vixens Dance Team Auditions for the 2015 season are on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 @ 7:00 pm!! Auditions will be held at Crossfit Ravenous located at 1050 Colwell Lane #400, Conshohocken, PA. If you plan to attend and/or have any questions, please email philavixensdanceteam@gmail.com.

Audition Requirements:
*All applicants must be 21 years of age or older at time of audition – Please bring a valid form of ID
*Hair and makeup should be performance ready.
*Please wear a dance or athletic half top (stomach must be showing), dance shorts (no full length or capri length pants), and dance shoes.
*Please provide a recent (within the last 3 months) headshot and full-body shot. Professional photos are not mandatory. Photos will not be returned.
*Please bring your registration fee ($30), water, and a light snack

Jacksonville Axe Maidens Auditions Are This Saturday

Looking for ladies who love to dance & perform. Must have an outgoing personality and wants to be part of a great TEAM.

The Axe Maidens (Cheerleaders/Dancers for the Axemen Rugby League) will be conducting auditions on Saturday, April 11th at 12:15p.

Ladies must attend a mandatory workshop on Thursday, April 9th at 8pm to learn
all the choreography needed to perform in front of the judges at the audition.

Location: Bailey’s Gym – 9545 San Jose Blvd. 32257 (between Sunbeam and Old St Augustine Rd)

Completed applications must be brought to the workshop on April 9th along with a non-refundable photo and $25 (cash only).

Requirements:
* Ladies must be 18yrs old by 4/9/15
* Axe Maidens must attend rehearsals Mon & Thurs evenings and Saturday home games.
* Great dancer, performer and physically fit.

Attire for the workshop & audition: Black dance pants or black dance shorts – worn with hose, dance sneakers or dance shoes (any color), sports bra or (supportive) bathing suit top, hair down and glamorous makeup.

This month is our Tenth Anniversary and to celebrate we’re posting some of our all-time favorite photos.

At the 2011 P-R-O Convention, David Tyau scouted the hotel and suggested the pool area as a possible shooting location. And then the Jacksonville Axe Maidens were kind of enough to get up early on Sunday morning before the convention resumed and we did a little photoshoot in and around the pool.

Jacksonville Axe Maidens Selected for New Teams

Our good friend Darlene, who directs the Jacksonville Axe Maidens, wrote to us with some great news about Alumni and Veteran Axe Maidens being selected for new teams.

 

Veterans Carolyn, Natalie, Courtney and Sara-Marie were selected to the Jacksonville Jewels (ABA Jacksonville Giants)

2008 Alumni Micah was selected to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Cheerleaders

2010 Alumni Hilary is a rookie on the ROAR of the Jaguars joining 2010 Alumni Marisa who is in her 3rd season on the ROAR.
