No Xmas hoodies for the Blast Cheerleaders this holiday season. But they did break out the red and green poms for the occasion. A Pair of Baltimore Blast Cheerleaders On Saturday, November 14, the Baltimore Blast of the Major Arena Soccer League played their second home game of the season. They defeated the Syracuse Silver Knights 6-0. The Blast Cheerleaders entertained the crowd with their sideline routines and performance between the 3rd and 4th quarters. Fans got to meet some of the players and cheerleaders on the field after the game. Here are some photos from the game. The 2015-16 Baltimore Blast Cheerleaders made their season debut Saturday night at Royal Farms Arena. The 20 member squad of 11 veterans and 9 rookies dazzled the crowd in their new red uniforms by The Line Up. The Blast defeated visiting Chicago 7-4 and a great night was had by all. Enjoy the photos! Congratulations to former Ladies of Ontario Fury Dancer Michelle C. for being selected to the 2015 – 2016 Laker Girls. For the past several years, I have been fortunate to photograph this lovely dancer, first as a Anaheim Bolts Dance Team Member and for the past two years as a member of the Ladies of Ontario Fury Dance Team. I first saw her at tryouts for the Anaheim Bolts Dance Team and I knew she would be special. More recently, Michelle has been delighting fans while cheering on the Ontario Fury at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. Under the direction of Dance Team Director Lynae de Leon, Michelle and several other members of both dance teams have blossomed and gone on to greater challenges with such squads as the Clippers Spirit, Charger Girls and now the Laker Girls. The Ladies of Ontario Fury held their auditions for the 2015 dance team this past Saturday and I was very interested in the outcome. You see, the Ladies of Ontario Fury have become one of my most beloved squads to shoot and under the direction of Lynae de Leon, they always seem to have some girls that are “next level” cheerleaders. This past season, two girls made NBA squads (the Laker Girls and the Golden State Warriors) and another Fury dancer was a finalist for the Phoenix Suns. So every year, I eagerly await auditions to see who are the returning veterans and who are the potential newcomers to this squad. And this year, there are several openings for newcomers as only nine veterans were trying out again. With nearly 50 girls trying out, the competition for one of the 16 spots would be the most competitive in the three year history of the team Continue reading The 2015 Ladies of Ontario Fury Dance Team Auditions If you are an aspiring dancer in the Southern California area, The Ladies of Ontario Fury dance team is holding auditions for their 2015-2016 squad this Saturday.
