A fathead? Not what you think, since nearly every one of these members of the DCC is so modest, and some to the point of being shy, so this is not to suggest Mia Greenhouse, the two-year veteran, is conceited or anything like that.
Although she could be, since last year the former high school track star was one of three squad members chosen for the front cover of the 12-month 2011 Dallas Cowboys Swimsuit calendar.
When the calendar was revealed to the girls at Cowboys Stadium, with month-by-month popping up on the gigantic video board, Mia was, needless to say, shocked because last year at Riviera Nayarit was her first photo shoot.
“I texted my mom, and we really like to play jokes on each other,” Mia recalls, “so I said, ‘They revealed the calendar today and I’m not in it, but everybody looks so beautiful,’ and she was like, ‘Oh that’s great.’ And I said, ‘Oh, but I am on the cover of the calendar,’ and she was so excited.”
But a Fathead?
That’s right, Mia is one of three current Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders of whom the sports memorabilia company chose to produce life-size posters, along with Cassie and Melissa, just another feather in the cap of the former rookie cheerleader heading toward the 2011 season.
“The first time I actually saw it, it came in and I wasn’t home. We were in Korea for the USO Tour,” Mia says. “My family has a tradition where we always take a picture on Christmas Eve. So they took a picture with the Fathead because they missed me, so I was kind of there. They sent it to me on Facebook.”
So did mom put it up at the house?
“In our movie theater room right next to the TV,” Mia says. “And I’m like, ‘Mom, I don’t want to look at it, just so weird.”
Ah mothers, right?
