Ultimate Cheerleaders covered the audition finals of the ROAR this past week at EverBank Field in Jacksonville. Fifty-five candidates participated after advancing from the prior week semi-finals.
The morning session included technical dance skills and moves. The afternoon session was a fun filled costume talent show with a variety of performance skits.
Congratulations out to the 34 ladies selected for the 2017 squad. More details will follow on the Jags homepage.
The Beautiful and talented Claire has been chosen as the Pro Bowl representative for the ROAR of the Jaguars.
Claire is an Alum of Kansas State University where she danced on the Classy Cats squad. Claire works as a Recruiter in Jacksonville. Congrats out to Claire.
During college Claire was featured as a Sports Illustrated Cheerleader of the Week.
Let’s just skip over the result of the Broncos v Jaguar game and present the ROAR of Jacksonville. All NFL cheerleaders are fun to watch on game day but the ROAR of the Jaguars are extra special due to their extreme good looks, talented dance moves and special attention given to the Jacksonville ticket holders during pregame on the plaza. We all agree that these Jacksonville fans deserve some good home cooking but while they await better win/loss results it is comforting to have the entertainment of the ROAR and the energetic JAX Pack.
Fan favorite Chloe, third year veteran, was the “Cheerleader of the Game” and she received a nice ovation when she was introduced.
The ROAR gave up their usual halftime break and refresh time to perform the traditional extra special halftime show with the Junior ROARS. The adoration on faces of the juniors is quite a scene to observe. It cost me my halftime sandwich but it was great covering it.
As always, our thanks goes out to Christy Stechman Zynda and her team to allow Ultimate Cheerleaders to partially interrupt the normal game day cheering routines of the ROAR.
Congrats out to Chloe, third season member of the Jacksonville Jaguars for being selected by her teammates as an outstanding representative of the ROAR! Off the field Chloe is an exercise program coordinator.
Jacksonville TV station WJXT has posted a nice video of “Making of the 2017 ROAR Swimsuit Calendar”. The link is HERE.
Twelve current year cheerleaders were chosen to pose for the 2017 calendar which was shot in Jacksonville including the beaches and EverBank Stadium. The main sponsor of the calendar is Holeshot Powersports.
Here’s some game-action shots of the “Magnificent Twelve”. Enjoy.
