NFL Regular Season Week 15 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

NFL Regular Season Week 12 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

The Baltimore Ravens got their second win in a row with Lamar Jackson at the helm.  This week, it was the Oakland Raiders who were the victims.  A balanced attack by the Ravens and a strong defensive effort kept the Raiders in check.  Final score: Ravens – 34, Raiders – 17.

With the win, the Ravens stay within one game of the division leading Pittsburgh Steelers with five games to go in the season.

NFL Regular Season Week 11 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

It’s a new era in Baltimore, who started rookie Lamar Jackson, the exciting quarterback from Louisville, in place of the injured Joe Flacco.  Many have speculated that Jackson is the future of the franchise and starting him now in order to further his development is the right thing to do.  Either way, this past Sunday was a chance to see the talented rookie in meaningful action for the first time.

Behind the signal calling of Jackson, the Ravens eked out a victory over division opponent Cincinnati, 24 – 21.  It was an unconventional performance, but effective as Jackson rushed 26 times for 119 yards and passed 19 times for 150 yards…just enough to keep the Bengals at bay.  Hey, a win is a win and this win propelled the Ravens into a tie for second place in the AFC North.

NFL Regular Season Week 9 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

At the midway point in the season, every game is important if you want to make the playoffs and especially so if you are playing a division rival.  So the game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens had a special importance because the division lead was at stake.

The Steelers have a potent offense with play makers at all the skill positions and the Ravens counter with the top ranked defense in the NFL and that’s a good thing considering the Ravens offense has been rather stagnant the past two weeks.  An interesting match up indeed.

So what happened?  The Steelers rolled up 395 yards, converted 10 of 16 third-down plays and held the ball for 36 1/2 minutes.  They scored 23 points against the Ravens, whose offensive woes continued.  Led by Joe Flacco, the Ravens were limited to one touchdown and three field goals against the Steelers and that wasn’t enough to defeat their rivals.  The final score, Steelers – 23, Ravens – 16.

NFL Regular Season Week 7 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

It was a historic day in Baltimore where two milestones were made…one good and one not so good.  Drew Brees of the visiting New Orleans Saints threw his 500th touchdown passes, joining an elite club that includes Brett Favre, Peyton Manning and Tom Brady.  The other milestone was made by Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, arguably the most accurate field goal kicker in the NFL, who missed is first extra point conversion of his career.  He was 222 for 222 on extra points since entering the league in 2002.  Now he’s 222 for 223 and unfortunately for the Ravens, that first missed extra point cost them the game.  Final score, Saints – 24, Ravens – 23.

NFL Regular Season Week 3 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

We begin our Week 3 coverage of the NFL regular season with a look at the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders in another wet and wild Sunday of football action.  The Denver Broncos were in town to face the Ravens in a battle of likely playoff contenders. Fortunately for the hometown fans, the Raven prevailed 27 – 14.  If you want to see a gallery of images from game day, click here.

NFL Regular Season Week 1 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders

Rain had a major impact on several NFL games in week 1 and in Baltimore it significantly affected game play…for the Buffalo Bills.  Or may be it was the Ravens themselves that led to the lopsided loss for the Bills.

Joe Flacco must have seen what happened to the Alex Smith last year when the Chiefs drafted QB Patrick Mahomes.  With his future in K.C. in doubt, Smith went on the throw the ball like he had never done before…namely more deep balls and less dump offs…but that was still not enough to prevent his eventual departure from the Chiefs.  In an eerily similar situation, the Ravens used a high draft pick to select their possible QB of the future, Lamar Jackson and in the first game of the 2018 NFL season Joe Flacco threw the ball like a man about to lose his job.  Uncharacteristically efficient,  he passed for 236 yards and three TDs.  Was it enough to convince his naysayers that he is the present and the future for the Ravens…we shall see.

But in the meantime, let’s take a look at the Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders who braved the inclement weather to cheer on the Ravens to victory.  Click here to view the Ravens game day gallery.

NFL Preseason Week 4 – The Baltimore Ravens Cheerleaders
